Black Hole Sun has the ability to rearrange the physical properties of objects within its field of effect, such as the thickness of paper or the consistency of oil. It can also be worn like a suit of armor, greatly enhancing the user's speed, defense, and strength, but is unable to use its ability in that state. A minor effect of Black Hole Sun also lets the user know the chemical configuration of anything he touches.
Black Hole Sun's user is Maxwell Irvine, who is supposed to look like Malcolm McDowell, so no, you're not imagining things.
